The Israeli chairmanship aims to intensify stakeholder's interest in the EUREKA instruments while sharing with the network Israel's best practices in innovation management and funding models.

The Israeli Chairmanship work plan is focusing on:
Addressing the Grand Challenges through the various EUREKA instruments and the Eureka clusters in particular.
Elaboration of the network proposals for EUROSTARS 2. Based on the success of the EUROSTARS program, the Chair will support the development of the new scheme together with ESE and the European Commission.

Developing concrete benefits for the industrial participants of EUREKA The Israeli Chair will consider how to improve innovation services to EUREKA's industrial target groups and foster adequate synergies with complementary programs and instruments of the European Commission and other key stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem.

Taking advantage of the Israeli expertise in the innovation support value chain, a special focus will be dedicated to elaborating and demonstrating new innovation financing models and instruments.
