Israeli gov't appoints new Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry Director-General
Sharon Kedmi, 37, will replace Moshe Levain.
 

The Israeli cabinet on Sunday appointed Sharon Kedmi as Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry Director-General in place of Moshe Levain.

In his previous positions, Kedmi, 37, acted as head of staff at the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry as well as at the National Infrastructures Ministry

Kedmi, who is married and a father of two, holds a BA in International Relations and a Master of Business Administration.

In the past he served as a director in the private sector and as a writer for financial news outlets "TheMarker" and "Globes".

In addition the cabinet approved the appointment of former CEO of Nice Technologies Haim Shani as Finance Ministry Director-General in place of Yoram Ariav. Shani will take up his new post in two months time.
