Israel's Accountant General appoints Eran Heimer as new deputy
Eran Heimer will replace Ami Landau who is leaving his post at the end of October.
Eran Heimer, deputy director-general of the Government Companies Authority, has been appointed deputy Accountant General at the Finance Ministry. Heimer who is replacing Ami Landau, was appointed by Accountant General Shuki Oren.
In his new post, which Heimer will take up on 1.11.2009, he will be responsible for financing and banking at the ministry. Since 2000, Heimer has held a number of government positions including director of foreign currency transactions and external debt at the Finance Ministry and treasurer at the Transport Ministry.
Heimer,35, holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Economics and Management from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
