Israel, Belarus sign standardization cooperation accord
Israel raised much hope in the signing of the agreement to serve as a platform to attract and boost trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
 

 

Israel and Belarus on Sunday signed a cooperation agreement on standardization of products and metrology.

The agreement was signed by Israel's Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Belarus Chairman of State Standardization Committee Valery Koreshhov.

At the signing ceremony, Ben-Eliezer, said that as Israel in the process of entering the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), it has collated much information and experience in the field of standardization and meeting international standards. Ben-Eliezer emphasized that Israel will share its experience with Belarus and also learn from its experience.

Ben-Eliezer put much hope in the signing of the agreement to serve as a platform to attract and boost trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
